What exactly is Vitamin E and why do most beauty products today have it? According to the experts, Vitamin E is best known for its antioxidant properties. This basically means that it has the ability to help protect vital cell structures by neutralizing molecules called free radicals, which are unstable molecules that come from sources like air pollution and radiation. By nature, free radicals are bad for the body as they can bring about damage and eventually, a multitude of diseases.
And one of the body parts that can be greatly affected by free radicals is the skin. This is why skin care products with Vitamin E are very important in keeping your skin healthy. It helps protect the cells from damage and because it keeps the free radicals at bay, the skin remains healthy.
So if you want to make sure your skin is nourished, load up on almonds, kiwi, and mangoes as these foods are known to have different quantities of Vitamin E. And to make sure you get enough in your system, it’s always a good idea to take supplements to complement your diet.

For a radiant glow that gives you that perfect glow all day long, try starting by applying luminizing face primer that eliminates flaws and covers up blemishes. Follow-up with liquid or cream foundation to make the skin look drier and even eliminating the oily look. Blend them well, and do not forget the eyelids and the hairline to prevent those separation lines that gives an artificial look. Try to blend it to make it look natural and even. Follow up with pink-toned concealer under the eyes and a foundation shade concealer on spots that still show. Use bronzers to give you a glowing look similar to most stars like J-Lo who has the perfect bronze look. Apply shimmer and highlighting shades but with older women, try to avoid shimmer near the lines on the eyes. Use sheer translucent powder on the t-zone that leaves your cheeks looking dewy fresh. Dust powder across the eyelids using an eye shadow brush to prevent the eye makeup from running.

From Clarins, the melting gel starts as a honey colored gel after you apply it that adheres to the contaminants on your skin (make-up, pollutantsa dnother cosmetics products). It then turns into a deep cleansing oil which after a while, turns into a cleansing milk as it transforms into a smooth lathering solution that washes away all residue on your face. May it be make-up or any other cosmetic product, it deep-cleans, nourishes and then washes away leaving smooth skin that is soft and plump.

Celebrities are sporting them so why shouldn’t you? Green fashion accessories abound and they are quite green and environmentally friendly. Most of the fashion trends of days gone by have been scorned and hated by green fellows for their sinister beginnings. They use exotic furs and skin products that have almost wiped out entire species. Most stars fall for the nostalgia of fur studded clothes that were the norm of days gone by. Those who choose to sport them are today hated and even subject to well, smear campaigns to dissuade their fashion statement. Green products are recyclable and were produced using green technologies. Whether from recycled goods, like the recent feature on CNN about fashion designers who use junk to make special fashion accessories. (more…)

Water is essential in all life forms. It is needed for the different body systems to function properly.
An average of 6-8 (8 oz.) glasses of water should be consumed everyday to ensure proper hydration. A well-hydrated person has clear, healthy, glowing skin. It helps in the detoxification and cleansing of the skin by getting rid of impurities and toxins inside the body. Drinking the right amount of water also helps in maintaining a good muscle tone. You can see that a skin is elastic and supple when a person has enough hydration.
In contrast, a dehydrated individual has a dry, cracked skin and has early signs of aging visible in the skin. Inadequate water intake can also lead to breakout of acne and pimples.
It is good practice to drink water regularly throughout the day. There is no need to wait until you feel thirsty.

Too much moisture is a problem not many of us face who have to deal with dry skin each and every day. Dry skin is a very common problem but many who use water to cool off and wash more frequently during hot days tends to work to the opposite effect. Water, though a very good hydration source when used with soap can end up drying your skin more that you would want. Use blotting films to get rid of excess oil on your face, and wash with gentle moisturizing cleansers that do not dry out the skin.

Want temporarily plump lips for that so-in look? Try using some cinnamon oil before putting on your lipstick, it works just the same but without the pricey cosmetic injections. A warning though, best try it out for it can be irritating to people sensitive to the spice and the oil being concentrated, it will burn or sting more. Go the grocery for some and try it out, it adds plumpness for that special evening and it costs next to nothing. One more thing, want cheaper lipstick without shifting brands? Some manufacturers like Mack offer discounts if you opt to buy them with your old casings with you. It helps you save some cash as well as help save mother nature by lessening the trash you produce in the home.
